The TERROR of These Times

An International interfaith conference of theological perspectives on religion related turmoil.

Co-sponsored by Niagara Presbytery of the United Church of Canada and First Baptist Church of Niagara Falls, NY, with Jewish and Muslim partners Saturday, June 13, 1:00–9:30 pm, the event takes place at 554 Main St., Niagara Falls, NY (very near Rainbow Bridge). Presenters, both Canadian and American, include Jewish experts Ellen Frankel and Arthur Strimling, Muslims Habeeb Alli and Nevin Reda, and Christians David Bruce and Alison Miculan, with principal Mark Toulouse of Emmanuel College of the University of Toronto as one of the moderators. Three Testaments: Shalom, Peace, Salam
This conference also helps kick off the premiere run of a three-act peace play, on stage June 12-21. Broadway star and Grammy Award winning actor Frederick B. Owens leads an international cast in this James Flood Production directed by Arthur Strimling. It is based on dramatic episodes from Three Testaments: Torah, Gospel and Quran, the IPPY gold medal award winning book by Brian Arthur Brown, presenting the Scriptures of Abraham’s Family
together for the very first time.
